These Terms & Conditions outline the framework for your experience with us, from booking your spot to what to expect on your trip. Booking your adventure: Secure your place

To secure your place on any Teranga Travel trip, a non-refundable deposit is required. Your booking is only confirmed once this deposit has been successfully received by us and you have received our written confirmation. This ensures your spot is reserved and we can begin preparing for your unforgettable experience.

We offer flexible payment plans to help manage your travel investment. Please note that the full balance for your trip must be paid no later than eight weeks before the scheduled departure date, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific trip. Failure to complete payments by the due date may regrettably result in the cancellation of your booking.

Your safety, our priority: Mandatory travel insurance

For your peace of mind and safety, all travellers participating in a Teranga Travel trip must possess valid and comprehensive travel insurance. Your policy must cover, as a minimum, the following:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellation
  • Lost baggage
  • Personal liability

Proof of your valid insurance policy must be provided to Teranga Travel at least two weeks before your departure date. Regrettably, failure to provide valid insurance documentation by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your participation without a refund, as this is a fundamental requirement for joining our group trips.
